I think I just cried a tear when I saw 12 of the Radions lined up....I'm going to check them out at PA tomorrow against the AI and Vertex fixtures he has set up.

I thought you were going with the AIs? Are you putting all 12 on the DT? With my dimensions being 96"X36" I was planning to go 2 deep and 4 wide for a total of 8. Then another 4 on the frag tank.

I plan on stocking the tank on the 19th. I will add all my softies 1st then wait a week. than add LPS and most of the SPS.
I Will be posting monthly pics, So we can compare growth, color over-all health of corals.

Wow!!!! Speachless. Very nice.. You know it's big wihen u can't get a full front pic and have to do it in sections or from the side....

beautiful tank, woodwork, and equipment list. But why didn't you have the tank sit deeper in the stand and have the canopy sit a little lower to hide the black plastic trim?

Looking forward to see where this goes.

I think it looks better with the black showing. The corners show. It is powder coated stainless steel. Not plastic. This is a AGE built tank.

That tank is one beautiful sight...incredible, congrats, I am so jealous. I am going to go show my wife a picture of your tank right now and let her know this is what I want for my next birthday present...I have had a Radion on my tank now for a week, I really like it. I am getting less PAR directly under the light, but better spread than the AI Sol White.

Can't wait to see more pictures...thank you for sharing this with us.

I think I am going to take this pic to a local machine shop and be done with it.
they will be in a canopy with an opened back. 1 small fans on each side. 2 small fans in back. What do you guys think?

How long are the cords to the power supply, and where are you going to mount those? It would be cool to have them some how incased in wood or plexi so only the white tops show and conceal the cords.

I know it's a matter of preference, but I think it would look better with the frame concealed behind the canopy and below the rim of the stand. It kind of distracts me when I look at it, and detracts from the overall build quality of the stand, canopy and tank. Still looks good though, and no offense intended.

The cords are long enough to put the power supply's under the tank.

I thought about it for a long time before I had it built. The corners are real dark so I wanted the dark top and bottom.

I came over from the Ecotech Radion thread, wanted to make sure I am a part of following your amazing build! Makes my two Radions pale in comparison! :-)

seeing those radion LED's stacked up against the tank made me get the chills. im definitely following this thread.
