New AquaController 3/3 Pro Firmware

Paul
Thanks I can wait a little longer. I have the prior beta which seems ok on my AC3Pro, but I can not see the web pages or the new web accesable fetures on the AC3. Neither will save the programing if I edit it using the web interface.
I was able to figure out why I could not get my AC3PRo online finally using the new netsetup from the web interface. That was nice. I had an Underscore at the end of the address that I thought was a blank.

Well mine was going along for a record 2 weeks or so but I was fiddling with it ( loading graphs in one window and checking status in another window ) when it stopped responding remotley. The ac3 itself was still running the tank ok and had local control. Reset ac3 and it cleared.

Well, mine just froze again. I am at work right now so I wont be able to fix it until I get back home. I guess the tank will have to go today without lights or heat or anything that was off when the controller froze - for the third time!

I was about to suggest the same thing. I downgraded the iPhone app as well so everything is working fine! BTW to downgrade the iPhone app all you need to do is remove it from your iPhone and load the older version from iTunes. Hopefully you haven't uploaded the new iPhone Aquanotes into iTunes and you will be able to do so.
Looking forward to the fixed firmware. Thank you Curt.

For what it is worth, after turning off AquaServ, I have not had a freeze again.

I did that and mine still froze.

I was running it fine with the previous Beta version. It wasn't until I uploaded to the latest beta version that problems started.

I have updated my firmware and then attempted to update the web pages. Updating the web pages eventually hangs on the following:

"Sending fatgraph.swf"

AquaController Web Page Update Starting
Formatting Flash - Sending aqua.css - Sending index.htm - Sending menu.htm - Sending title.htm - Sending netsetup.asp - Sending settemp.xml - Sending setorp.xml - Sending setph.xml - read to date: 21231672 bytes, reallocating buffer to 21232148
Sending arial.swf - Sending swfobjec.js - Sending rss.sht - read to date: 21231672 bytes, reallocating buffer to 21232148
read to date: 21231672 bytes, reallocating buffer to 21232148
Sending fatgraph.swf -

I can't connect with my iPhone any longer. Connecting via web browser on computer still works fine.

Self test results show:
Rev 3.40S - 4F09
Passed # 7235

Any suggestions on getting iPhone app working again? Yes, the iPhone app is updated to new version. Which is the reason I decided to upgrade the AC3 firmware in the first place.

EDIT: a few more details

My iPhone Aquanotes appears to connect (shows green icon when connected).
I have two controllers setup in Aquanotes. One for the public IP and one for the private. When connected to my private LAN (wireless) on iphone, the private connects and public fails. When connected via 3G, the public connects and the private fails. So that is all working properly.

When I go to the controller in Aquanotes though, the page does not have info.

Probes: nothing listed

Control:
Outlets: "0 >"
Program
Timers

Info:
Date: Unknown
P. Failed: Never
P. Restored: Never
Serial #: blank
SW Version: blank
HW Version: blank

For a total laymen/computer illiterate, can you describe the stesp to your solution? I am having the same issue where I can access the AC# through the IP on the browser, through my computers AN, but not from the iphone app. I get the same blank info you described.

PLEASE!!! Laymen!! I and not as computer savvy as others here.

Ne'ermind. Curt responded to my email in like 0.5 seconds that I need firmware 3.4 to use the iphone app. I will wait patiently. By patiently, I mean like a hyperactive space monkey on crack and red bull.

Anyone know how to resolve a socket 10061 error? Scanned this thread but can only find stuff regarding 10060 and never did see a solution.

Is there a test I can do for to be sure Ive disabled all DHCP?

I have one of the OLDEST AC3pro out there, it was the first one premiumaquatics sold, I have updated firmware in the past using method B.

10061 is a 'connection refused'. Are you using AquaNotes? If so, close the AquaNotes program. If running AquaNotes as a service, also go into the Administrative Tools->Services applet and stop the AquaNotes service. Then try the firmware update again.

no aquanotes. I turned off DHCP on my mac, turned of DHCP on my router, then sat at my wifes PC and ran the .exe. doubled check user/pass IP etc etc.

what else might be using DHCP?

Oh i also turned off the firewall
