Carlos,
You won't ever see SSL in the AC3 or 3Pro. It just doesn't have the horse power to run that protocol. There are several free smtp servers on the internet (like gawab.com) which don't use SSL and work fine w/ the AquaController.

Latest Firmware for AC III Issue

Latest Firmware for AC III Issue

So for the first time ever, my AC III froze and was not controlling devices, temperature or anything.

I had to pull the power plug and then it started working again. The water temperature got up to 84 degrees.

UGH!!!

I am running the latest firmware and have had no issues with any of them before.

I am running the latest firmware and have had no issues with any of them before.

Found mine frozen as well a few nights ago. So far, that's been the only freeze with the latest firmware though. I had to unplug power and reboot to get my AC3 back.

With 5A09 I have now been up for 9 days , a record with the beta release.

thats why it is a Beta, it is helpful to the developer if you where doing something at the time, like i froze mine entering feedmode over a TCP/IP connection

With 5A09 I had to unplug power and reboot, to get my AC3 back. Its happand once a week for 2 weeks. I even think on putting a timer to reset the router once a week. (i thought its the router)

Mine (5A09) froze as well. My tank got up to 83 degrees before I caught it. I think mine froze when I was playing with the email settings.

If you have seen any problems with the firmware, please email support@neptunesys.com. I have not been able to replicate any problem with version 5A09. I need to know exactly what problem you are seeing, what you were doing before the failure was detected, and anything else you might think is important.

Assuming you are running a v3.4 beta, the version & build is shown on the Net Setup page, near the bottom.

Sorry buddy ... mine hung as well, just loaded it last night.

At some point after 12 hrs in operation and before 18 hrs it stopped responding. I noticed when i could not access the web page and the lights had not gone off after 10:00 pm.

not sure how you can diagnose this, without yours doing the same ... i upgraded from 3.2

Update...

So I updated my AC3 2 days ago. Everything seems to be working fine until this afternoon when all of a sudden, I was not able to connect to my AC at work. I was able to connect to it quite a few times this morning. When I got home at 7pm, I found my AC frozen on the data page ie. Temp ph ph2 etc and the buttons were not responsive. The data on the screen was showing the data a few hours back; must had been the last set of data before it was frozen. The MH lightings were all ON when they should had been turn off after 6pm. Worst off, the MH lights were supposed to be off when the temp was greater than 81.5 but that did not happen. The temp was at 83.2!! I didn't get any email alert either. So other words, the AC was completely frozen. I power cycled it and now it is working fine. Any ideas?
