That is correct. The CO-2 Skimmer now gives you the option to put the pump at the 'far end' of the skimmer (opposite of the outlet pipe as pictured), or on the side of the skimmer. Here are pictures of the two orientations:

Wish Aquamaxx would give the same two pump mounting options in all of the co series skimmers...
Maybe Marine Depot should suggest it to them so they can add that feature to the co3+ sizes too.

Your in luck! AquaMaxx did indeed start adding this feature to all the CO-series skimmers. All the CO-2, CO-3, CO-5 and CO-6 skimmers we have in stock will have the two pump mounting options :thumbsup:
The CO-3 will now have a footprint of either 14.2" x 12.3", or 17.4" x 8.3"
