Well I have hesitated to post my humble little Nano but here it is anyway. Maybe it will give some others some ideas.
Looks cute Bill! Is that a Robin-fish up top?

Here is another I have on the back burner, a 3.7 gallon (10" cube)tabletop pico stand. I call it a Flame Tang :)

I'm trying to guess what this stand consists of,looks like a pinion gear,a section of a drive shaft with a u-joint,a couple blades from a fan,and a pick axe or splitting maul head.

how close am I?

its cool as heck, you're definitely good with metal.

Here's the stand I built for my 120g Oceanic Tech. It's made from cherry, with ambrosia maple door/drawer fronts.

Nice look; very exotic.

Question though: You put the sand in Before the Live Rock??

Yes, because I wanted to soak it in fresh RO/DI water for a couple of weeks. I heard this will help keep the sand from binding together, which I'm not sure really works, but it couldn't hurt.

Just finished

Nice Stand, assuming that's a removable panel on the front, it's really incorporated well!

good assumption! Its held on by magnets. I forgot to post a close up of the door pulls, I really like those :) It probably wouldn't kill me to mention that it is for a 40B and is 36" tall.

Where did you find those handles? That's the perfect touch. Is there a hood to match?

Nice decision on the open top, I think the stand is classy and clean enough that it doesn't need a hood to match. Suspending a tek over that is going to be sweet!
