Lovely, how old is the system and how deep is the sandbed? What type of sand?
thanks for coment ,,system is 17 months old and sand-Areganite select 2-3 " deep

I am very fortunate that Dang (tamarindthai) is a good friend of mine... and yes his tank is amazing... canarygirl is right, its more amazing in person... you can see the scale and grandness of this tank.... not the super big tanks out there like 500g or 1000g but this one is just amazing.

BTW, most of the time people here in NW hangs out in REEFFRONTIERS.... so if you are visiting NW and wants to know more about reefers and reefstores, come and drop by...

With that said....
This is his second tank. The previous one was in his restaurant, and then he finally sold the restaurant and sold everything in his tank... except from some colonies hes been taking care off and some equipment.

Mind you, I have been in this hobby way longer than he is... but both of his 1st and 2nd tank are both thriving, and to be honest... jaw dropping. He really have the blue thumb (green thumb for plant growers) :D... Now if I only can have some of that blue thumb magic....

As always nice tank Dang

thanks Cesar and everone for all the kind words,
,i worked so hard for this,,4 days last winter without power the generator that never quit on me,,just keep fill it up every 6hrs,,just to keep the tank warm,,lucky every corals alive.:)

Very nice!! You gotta love those torts:thumbsup: I might of missed it but do you run filter socks? If you don't is there a reason why. Thanks for sharing you must be very busy now on reefcentral.

I saw that tank shot on TOTM, and I thought, "Hmm... Why does that look so familiar?"

Awesome tank Dang! I would love to visit and see it again. I haven't seen it since the restaurant tank, which was absolutely jaw-dropping beautiful. I remember my food getting cold on the plate because I couldn't tear my eyes away from looking at the amazing corals long enough to take a bite!

Great Job!

Best Wishes,
-Luke

i am only used the filter sock for 2days after i do water change then i removed it(when i do water change i stir up the sump purposly),,normally i don't use it.
