First split from Live Aquaria Diver's Den BTA

The BTA in my avatar decided to split for the first time. It's one of my favorites so I'm pretty excited I now have two!

It has bright red tips that fade into a dark chocolate colored oral disc.

hogben- Did the RBTA have such an intense coloration when you bought it? Any chance you saved the LiveAquaria picture?

I see there's a bright pink anemone in your gallery, but I can't tell if that's the same one.

That's the same one in my avatar, the same one above that split, and here is the live aquaria pic:

I have another with longer tentacles and is brighter pink, but this one that just split has more red.

It about tripled in size before it split, and of course lost most of its bubble tips. My avatar photo is within days of receiving it.

I had been feeding squid and silverside every other day or so.

Man..that is probably the most beautiful RBTA i have ever seen. It sucks they don't keep their bubbles most of the time..but yours are so sexy...

Did you do anything different to cause it to split??? Jut wondering since my anemone is huge and I kind of want it to split.

Put new bulbs in a week ago. I had just alternated to feeding squid from silversides, then back to silversides the day before. I also changed my carbon. Heh, can't think of anything else.

I've had that one for almost a year.
