This is Tink.
K is in hospital again.
Blood clots in both legs. Could lose one or both legs if don't operate soon. Emergency surgery happening this afternoon.
Prayers/thoughts/vibes appreciated.
OMG! I hope they can save both legs. Sending positive thoughts your way. Keep believing that everything will work out and they can save his legs.

Been there, done that, as far as clotting in the legs and pulmonary embolism in the lungs. I didn't lose either leg and I had clotting only in the left leg and thigh but I was hospitalized a total of three times for eight days each time and the PE nearly did me in.

They can insert what is called a Greenfield filter to prevent DVT clots in the legs from progressing up into the lungs, which is where the real danger lies. You can read about that procedure here. BTW, all of my complications are the result of a motorcycle accident that happened 33 years ago.

Sending prayers and best wishes from Tennessee! I can't imagine the stress you two are under. My wife had a PE a week before our wedding. Not fun, just glad they caught it.

Man...you have had some really tough luck lately...

Hang in there and fight...

Remember that, I know it sounds ridiculous but when the going gets tough the tough get going..

I know that is extremely trite but it seems to fit in this situation...

Can't help but feel for ya and your struggle...

Hi, all. It's Tink. I'm just back from the hospital.
I'm too overwhelmed and exhausted to get into nitty gritty details but I wanted to at least let you know that he made it through surgery okay and he's recovering in the cardiac unit. I appreciate your thoughts, I really do believe they've helped. Thank you.
