That's one more hurdle cleared. Thanks for the update. Keep swinging, and eventually you two will be back to normal. We're all looking forward to that day, when you give us lame updates like "scrubbed the tank glass, did a 20% water change." ;)

Don't be afraid to put up the donation box again if you need it. We love you guys and want him to REALLY take it easy. I am glad he pulled through for us all again. I hope he continues to get better.

K is having a trying day mentally. A doctor suggested he not go back to work at all and well, he is a workaholic and that kind of suggestion really brought him down in spirits.
I hesitate to setup the paypal again because we are both the type of people that hate swallowing our pride. On the other hand, we are struggling.
I'll work on it now and hope K doesn't get upset with me for doing so. As long as everyone promises to only donate if they can absolutely, positively afford it. The economy is bad right now and I'm sure alot of people have it worse off than us and I hate to imagine taking other people's money or being a burden or appearing to post only for the hopes of getting money. I'm kind of paranoid like that.
I'll do it now even though part of me aches to admit that we need it :-(
Going to visit him in a few hours after I finish things around here holding the fort down and such.
 
I am sorry to hear that. I am sure K is really upset. When you take away a mans ability to work you take away his manhood.
Can you please post the link to the donation box for us? Tell him he is in our prayers. K is a great storyteller, maybe he can become a author. I would definitely buy one of his books. This "thread" can become his inspiration. I know he inspired alot of us.
 
Actually, since our computer died I haven't been able to login to update our site and I don't have time right now to figure it out. I have the html for the donate button but nowhere to add it to right now.

Tink, thoughts and prays go out to you and the wild reefer. Hand in there, I know it is tough at times. Thankfully everything is going well, so far, after the surgery.

Tink, consider the donations a hand up from your friends on RC. This post has brought a lot of entertainment to the group and I think a lot of people on here would call you and K friends.
As a workaholic, I know how hard it is to let it go, but he might have to do it for his health. May be he can take a little break and go back after getting himself healthy.

Set it up and focus on getting him better. He has made me laugh out loud and cry and all things in between. Thank him for all of us at RC and take the money. I have enjoyed this thread more than you will ever know. Thanks K and Tink from Yuma AZ.
 
well, I'm still alive.... again. this is just plain silly. they still don't know where the clots came from and no one is entirely sure why everything hurts so bad that i can't walk.


But they sliced me open again..pulled out a bunch of clots and with any luck i'll be funtional soon enough....

I am really sick of doctors....
