give him time and let nature take its corse .
+1 -- dont stir the sand bed. if he's going to come out he will on his own.

It may take a day or two to come out. Also it will take a while to adjust its biological clock.
what kind is mysterybox's third pic? i think thats my newest one.
i lost my bipartis a few months ago after having him for over 3 years. any ideas why? i added no new fish to the tank for a while. he kept eating but not quite as vigourisly but still got skinny over a couple weeks and lost strength and disappeared for good, my thought was something internal?was mine and my gf's fav fish, had to get this guy to replace him. he/she is her valentines day gift

hopefully the new guy hold's his own with my other fish and yellow coris and sea grass wrasse. i still want to add a radiant too.
drip acclimated, left actinics on, placed in tank, tossed in a good mix of rods, mysis etc.
So... who bought the "Tinfoil Leopard Wrasse" off of DD today? Wrasseman, didn't you get the last one?
well i got home from work today and my potter's was out so i immediately fed it some pe mysis and it ate a bit then went back into hiding. hopefully this starts a trend haha
Third picture down is a female m. meleagris. Your picture looks like a match, although it doesn't look very black from that angle. Could have been internal parasites... could be many things.
def. a match, he is black when in the tank but in that pic he turned out red. he came out today for about 1 hour, i tossed in a bunch of food, showed interest but no eating from what i saw.
