WOW! Those are some interesting fish. Do they usually remain like they are in the photos or do they often morph back to normal? Also wondering if anyone knows if the morphs are have a shorter lifespan or are more prone to disease.

I don't think anybody really knows if they're any different from a health perspective. There have been several people that have reported fish turning back into normal specimens, copps being one of those people.

its funny how you dont see many goby or blenny or other small fish hybrids/morphs. Maybe its the way they breed compare to the larger angels.

i love baby regals and their variants. ill try to post some pics of the ones i have had.

CALICO Passer reversion

CALICO Passer reversion

This calico or mulatto Passer did convert back to his original faith.
At least 80% reversion.
We waited too long to sell him and watched him lose about $20 in value each day!

Zem. The reason you rarely see hybrids of gobies and smaller fish is that usually they have plenty of their own species to do the nasty, I know so scientific. Also as far as morph maybe the smaller fish have to keep to their regular colors in order to not blo]w their cover and get eaten. A larger fish can get away with being different far easier than a small goby who is always on someones menu. Just my thought. Maybe Luiz can chime in as it is a great question as to why we rarely see morphs of smaller fish? T

Yes, I heard all the ones that arrived to HK evetually changed completely, besides a couple that changed but at the same time lost the Crown.
