I'm in agreement with David partially on this. If you're talking about a closed loop on bottom of tank then I think you're asking for a disaster. One bulkhead/plumbing failure and your DT is drained of every drop of water devastating your tank and HOUSE! I've thought of closed loop drain being off my overflow and then using returns cut out of the top of tank with drops here and there with the addition of the MP60s. (I won't be able to do MP40s because the acrylic will be 1" thick)

Thanks David and Dustin. I'm looking at starting a similar build and have been debating whether or not the closed loops are worth the risk or whether I can get the flow I need with the MP60's.

I'm setting up a 90 AGA with 2 radions and 2 MP40w's. I read the thread but might have missed it... Have u synced them up for a lighting storm? Also u said u have enough cord to mount them in ur stand right?

yes plenty of cord. I never did mess the the storm setting

i will try to get it to you. It is Artificial. Lights on at 6 am 9am 20k(100%). 12 to 3 100% with with all lights. 3:30 back to 20k (100%) lights off at 8:30
