What kind of lift did you end up with?

My tank is sitting in its crate outside and I am trying to figure out how to move it into the house (no stairs luckily) and then raise it onto the stand.

I have a 1 ton engine lift, though that is precarious because of the single point for the lift to attach to the tank.

Someone else suggested getting 6x6 and having everyone lift the tank 6 inches and put the 6x6 under it in 2 or three spots. Then lift again and add another set of 6x6 and so on until it is the height of the stand.

Well having drained my tank a couple times in the past, there's always a bright spot to it, you get to re-imagine your aquascape :D

I know it might be a stretch, but I get bored with the way my tank is scaped every now and then.

Just read through this entire thread, so glad to see water going back in and excited to see what you will do next! I know its frustrating but you had such good results quickly that I'm sure it will be even better this time.

I know you commented on the Super Reef Octopus XP-5000 External Protein Skimmer a couple times throughout the thread any plans to add to that or do you think that will continue to meet your needs? I'm planning a 450 DT / 600 System and based on the earlier discussion here and if you think this is still covering you I'm going to be leaning that way too.

So far the skimmer has met my needs. I dont ofer stock with fish though
 
David,

Bet your happy to finally have it back.

I like the rock work, its amazing that no matter how many time you scape a tank you think of better ways you could have done it when finished. I think you got it looking good with alot of shelfs for corals.

1st occupant is Tube Anemone since I don’t have a sand bed. While I’m in Minnesota I always stop at Saltwater Empire Bloomington MN. Li told me how to put Tube Anemone into a rock. This is a pretty sweet idea.
