I dont think it was the sailfin tank as i have lost two more colinies of zoas, Not sure what it is I havent added anything to tank for at least 6 months

I don't know. I haven't added anything to tank in the last 6 months. If it is pest how would I know.

try checking the tank late one night with a red lens on a flashlight to see if you can see the culprit.

Wow!!! I just spent the last few hours viewing this thread from day one..ups and downs, etc. David, I just wanted to say congrats on both beautiful granddaughter and newly acquired quilting skills. This morning I noticed a few of my Zoa's were looking real bad off. Sure enough as i camped out at tank all morning I caught the sailfin in the act. As soon as John gets home I'll go get his trap. He's out of there

My sailfin tang is out of time out. He is back in display. I still don't know why I lost 3 colonies of Zoa's

my frag tank is acrylic 98x18x18. Do I need to set Styrofoam between stand and tank?
