Mixed 500 gal. A.G.E. build. 12 unit LED Radion lights.

Thank you.
There is no need for the Apex. They made a great program that you plug into your laptop. Very nice control with the laptop.
Ecotech Marine made a really nice product here. Corals are looking real good

Gotcha. I'd think it would be nice to have everything running through one controller but seems like Ecotech Marine made nice controllers on both the lighting system and Vortech pumps so it's just not necessary.

Looking forward to the next round of pics!

From what i've heard this will be an option and apex is looking to program it just like they have with the pumps. Much like you, a single point of administration appeals to me too.

Coralife salt is all I ever use I have real good results using it.
But I have never missed a water change @ 20% every 2 weeks

Great build! i have the Radion units also, how far above the water are they if i may ask. your corals seem to be loving them.

It's always great to meet someone from other state and sometimes other country
This community is great for bringing everyone together.

I recently moved to Parkville, MO and have been following your build. I am currently planning a 300 SPS and a 250 FOWLR, so i may post questions from time to time

Ask all the questions you want.
Saturday we are holding the Kansas City reef association (kcra) meeting at my place it would be great if if you could come meet everyone.

It has been over a week since I have touched base. Week 4 I still have them set at 14k I am up to 75% over all intensity. Growth is real good. This weekend I will post a video plus I will start my comparison pics. Some of the faster growing sps have grown ½”. I didn’t want to post pics until I had time for corals to acclimate. As all the corals, here in the tank, I have I grow under 150s. plus I moved them 3 times in 3 months. Now that everything is accustomed to lights, tank, I will start comparison pics.

Man let me tell you. I was there when the tank was brought in and set on the stand. Saw the pictures on the internet. But seeing it in person, makes a TOTAL difference. It's easily 50x better in person! Cool thing about it is, now the wife found "things and fish" she wants! Sweet!
