Mixed 500 gal. A.G.E. build. 12 unit LED Radion lights.

The kids are great
When are you coming back I have more people and tank for you to see.
Anyway I took down 2 of my LEDs because its too much par in the sand bed.
Also trade a few corals for huge colonies and bought a lot of corals too
So my tank is starting to look like a reef again but I am so busy with my RODI mishap.

How's the weather over there?

I would love to see it again. Its cold here

Hey David, I just checked out your video and really like it. Due to there being so many switches and fade in and outs, I did not notice if you were keeping any acans? I am attempting to keep them and am wondering if my Radions may be to much for them. What has been your experience?

I think the tank is ready to start comparison pictures. I waited this long because I wanted to get the tank acclimated (lights, corals, chemistry). It is looking really good. Lights are set at 14k for 6 hours. Overall intensity is at 75%. During that 6 hours, everything is at 100% for 1.5 hours. I will leave the lights at this setting for the next 2 weeks.
Keep in mind I did use the recommended number of fixtures. My tank is 40" deep so I do have them a bit closer together depth wise. Tank is 109" long so I have 2 rows of 6. Lights are 8" above the water.

I love the way your tank looks, I just finished setting up my 265 gallon with 300 pounds of tonga rock. I have 4 radions on it now, i am trying to avoid using a chiller, what do you maintain your temperature at on the tank

great thanks, thats about where I am now, I am just trying to now get the chemistry right, i had two hard corals in there and they both burned off. I did have some phosphates initially but treated the tank and got them back to 0.

Man I have a 120 now with 2 60watt ecoray leds and a 170watt maxspect on the tank and 2 par 38 leds from homedepot, all work like a charm love em!
