Nice!!!!!

In the future if u frag that macro Lmk ...I had brought some back from cali but it didn't make it...turns out my iron was way to low

Thank you all ! I'm hoping to get some more pipefish in here, maybe a pair of seahorse in the future, just have to learn about them.

I looked at reefcleaners, sadly there's not much macro this time of the year. Waiting til spring then I can order some really cool ones!

My gobies are impossible to photograph, and I'm kinda skeptical I will even see the two miniature dart fish I bought. Saw one yesterday floating around... but it's about 3/4" and diameter of a toothpick. Coolest thing so far is when I feed, a bunch of gobies dart in and out to eat.

Some pictures from last night.. It seem out of the 19 gobies I got from Pet Inc, 18 are alive and well, though they hide alot and the missing one is INCREDIBLY small. I want more nano gobies in this tank!

I'm not too worry, I find the gobies keep to the rocks mostly and never stray far. I keep the maxi on the ground on the other side of the tank. We'll see how it goes, if I see missing gobies, I will remove the maxi to my fuge and grow them there. I want alot of maxi because I have about 10 anemone shrimps + 10 sexy shrimps coming to host them.

System looks great! Cant wait to see the finished system. I'm turning my poco into a macro/NPS system
(sun polyps, dendros, gorgs). I have some macros already and am really liking them. Bad part, my halimeda just went sexual and blew up the system! It was a fairly large colony and I was getting ready to prun it and bam! Just in a flash the system goes from doing great to a complete disaster.

Moral of the story, be careful with the calciferous family of macros (Chlorophyta, Bryopsidales). Im sure you have done your reading and research on these beautiful alga's. But when they say they can go sexual and wreak havoc on a system, it's no joke.

Kataro, I just put two and two together here... your building a macro algae tank and I have some in my sump that's not doing much for me. I identified it as "neomeris annulata" via some google-fu after it showed up as a hitchhiker when the tank was new. Since then it has grown into a real colony on this one piece of rubble I have. Is it something your interested in for your re-build? Image of it in my sump, look lower right.

I am going to try and avoid those species that are likely to go asexual, and strict observation on each macroalgae each day.

Hey Drolic, I am definitely interested in those. I'll send you a PM

I'm thinking of switching my MH to LED again. I was thinking the radion, but since I'm just growing algae.. seem kind of a waste.

So I'm looking at AI Sol, maybe 3 of them over my tank which hopefully will give enough coverage / light. I haven't look at the sol in a while, any of you folks that uses it, how do you like it?
