How not to build a 750/1500 gallon build thread-Khaosinc 3/5/71-8/30/11

get a peacock mantis shrimp... it would love that tank

I suspect it would love all my other shrimp more...

There was talk of people offering frags up before, but at the time I really couldn't do much with the tank. I can now, and if anyone wants to add a piece, I wouldn't argue. I intend to have a full mixed and muddled reef full of everything from the lowest of palys to some of the fun SPS. My lighting isn't quite where I would like it for the SPS yet. My LED project is still in pieces and some of that tank is lit with just T8's in a home depot fixture. Theres still over 2000 watts over that tank and the right hand side is fairly well lit.

If you wanna put something in, let me know. My work schedule is a bit screwy right now, so I would have to plan ahead to get anything if one were to want to ship it for some reason.

As you can see from the pic, there are plenty of stuff to choose from......now if only you could see what that stuff is....ROFL....my camera is a Flintstone special and dont take pics worth a poot.....but that 125 is packed full of goodies. When youre ready, Mr K I want to contribute to your tank.

a snail? Really? daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang...Thats one skinny snail!

Never have had issues with the one I have. Lived beside every coral ever in the tank because I move my stuff around a pretty good bit. Cant make my mind up where I want stuff, or I get a new piece and have to start over placing things.

snail....I'd a never thunk it

+1 on the vermetid snails. Although the webs are cool, they can irritate corals. Problem is in trying to get them out. They will close back up in their tube. Me, I just put a huge glob of super glue over it......no more snail for me.

I've been focusing on rare clowns for the last year or so and have really only been surfin' the clown forum. This is the first time in a long time that I ventured into the general discussion forum. I'm glad I finally did 'cause I stumbled on this thread.

Now that my eyes are bleeding (after only really reading about a third of it) I can only say WOW!!! What a friggin roller coaster this has been for you!

I hope your health and your tank continue to progress in a decidedly positive direction.

Oh, and Tink... what an angel.

Thanks for joining in. I think my roller coaster is at least on hold for a while. At least it needs to hold off long enough to get some more fish in this tank.

Oh ya, and in my defence in reference to water changes. My current bioload wouldn't be overkill in a 100 gallon tank, with 1000 and change so far, I think I can skip a month here or there with no ill effects.

damn If I had this tank I would sit in front of it, crack open a beer, drink a shot of whiskey, and choke on the biggest dankest bongload ever.
