I have some pads en route (at least in theory)... pads for the 510 are a pain to find for some reason. I may have to look in to the sponges. Are you using them on acrylic

I don't use the sponge but the outside and yes, I use it on my 300 acrylic.

gearing up for my first water change on months... woo hoo. picked up a 100 gallon rubbermade tank I can plumb in to the system so I can do a several as I get water made.

SPECIAL THANK YOU to Saltygoat. I even get to use TDS 000 rodi water as he sent me some filters.

Now if I can just figure out the pump issue on my skimmer....

I feel for any reefer when this hobby bites back. I know I push my luck more than I should. You should hear some of the lectures I've gotten from the disease specialist thats still dealing with with stupid fungus I can't seem to shake.

I don't think I'll get to be hanging from any ceiling any time soon. windows giving afternoon sun are already being a PITA. Knew I shouldn't put windows in that room.

there is a use for old Berlin Skimmers...

Instant in sump carbon reactor.....bet it does more for this tank now than it ever did for my old tank.

Finally found a use for that old Berlin skimmer. I bet it does more as an in sump carbon reactor than it ever did as a skimmer for my old tank. Its in sump because I over tightened a fitting ages ago and it likes to leak a bit. Running it with an old RIO 2500 that I had kicking around from some project or another.
