Mixed 500 gal. A.G.E. build. 12 unit LED Radion lights.

Scallop fishing in Florida was great. We were out on water for 6 hours. We had to throw 2 gallons back. There is a lot of scallops this year.

I got home late last night. KCI was closed because of storms. We had to go set in St Louis for a few hours.

It was an honor to see you and my loss on scallop fishing. Maybe one day I will get the nerve and do that with you. Glad you made it home but sucks to be on delay. Cant wait to see your tank back in motion again.

David, I did the same with my 120 display. The idea being that if I decided to go to a sandbed at a later date, I could.
One of the added advantages to going BB is being able to really crank the flow up without fear of a sand storm.

You're going to be amazed and what debris piles build up with a BB tank.

Are you going to raise your rock up of the bottom of the tank?

I used a standard drill bit and used 3/8's inch acrylic rods cut to size to act as stilts to keep the rocks off the bottom so that I could siphon under them and so that fish could travel underneath the rockwork....

I will add power heads in the back bottom corners and use them as sweepers to help keep debris off bottom.
As for rock it will set on starboard

I live in Stint Joseph Missouri, a friend of mine lives in Orlando. While I’m in Orlando we go visit LFS. One on the stores we never miss is Worldwide Corals.
I even had them order this tank from A.G.E.
As I stated earlier in thread some visual defects were missed thru quality control.
I called Lou at Worldwide Corals (bought tank thru them). The very next day Acrylic Glass Exhibits (A.G.E) called me and apologized. They told me that if I wanted, they would come pick up my tank, replace the glass, and return the tank within 4weeks.
As you see in pics tank is back.
I know the visual defects shouldn’t have been there at all, but they were.
Acrylic Glass Exhibits (A.G.E) and Worldwide Corals. Took care if it and met all expectations.

very nice tank! David,

Your Tank

Your Tank

Hi David:

I have been checking on your thread daily to see when were going to see your tank up and running again.

I like the idea of the Starboard on the bottom.

Are you planning on ordering the new TIR lenses for your Radions? I ordered my 12 last week and they should be in tomorrow or Tuesday. I am anxious to see the results of the new lenses.

I'll keep checking and wishing you much success!
