We have a purchase order pending with AquaMaxx with an estimated delivery date of September 1 (and another after that expected September 30).

We presently only have one back order on the CO-2 since we recently fulfilled a bunch, so if you order now you will definitely get one in our next shipment.

I know cause I was so excited to watch it work. Plus I run heavy on the bioload so that's a part of it as well

We have a handful of orders pending with increasing quantities in each, so it looks like AquaMaxx has been able to ramp up production a bit. We presently have 4 backorders for the Aquamaxx ConeS CO-2 Protein Skimmer and our next order from AquaMaxx should contain 20 skimmers if we receive a full shipment. The ETA for that purchase order is 9/5/14, but that is not a guaranteed delivery date. We hope to know the true contents of the next shipment and the actual delivery date early next month. The next order after that for 30 skimmers is scheduled for delivery 10/17/14, but again, that is just an ETA for the PO.

Your complete satisfaction is our #1 concern. If you would like to cancel your backorder at anytime or switch over to another skimmer because you need something faster, by all means let us know! I believe this is a skimmer worth the wait, but everyone's situation varies and we just want you and your tank to be happy.

I agree, this skimmer seems like worth wait. I already have a skimmer on my 160g, but would like to upgrade, and CO-2 looks like the right fit for my system.

We only have 4 backorders for the model you selected with 20 (hopefully) coming, so you're in good shape.
