Thanks for the pic. Not sure what it's doing but I am going to take it out and see what happens when I install it.

I get the impression from looking at the pic, and the part you're talking about and suspect that it separates the pump from pushing up against the skimmer body - reducing noise from vibration. Thoughts?

Yes, this is correct. The people at AquaMaxx informed us the part is designed to hold the pump firmly on the bracket to reduce vibration and noise.

We have 2 orders of 20 (40 total) pending. We are anticipating delivery of the first shipment next Friday 5/16 and the following shipment 6/27.
19 of the 20 CO-2 protein skimmers we have coming in the first order are already reserved/backordered.

I would like to get a Co-1 for my 50gal artisan II, do you think this skimmer is too big for my system and when do you anticipate the next shipment will be, thx.

The review here which is frankly the best review around for the CO-1 is set up on a 39gal, so I'd say no from this and others I've come accross.

The CO-1 would work great for a tank of this size! Just be sure you have the appropriate space in your sump. We have also found that a constant water level will really help this skimmer perform it's best.
We do have some scheduled to arrive this week but it does appear all of them are accounted for. The next shipment is expected to arrive the week of 6/27 and based on such a high demand, I do recommend placing a backorder in order to reserve a skimmer from this shipment.

Not yet. Our ETA is Friday, but that's still an estimated time of arrival. Until we have tracking information and a manifest of what's in transit, we won't know the exact arrival date and the quantity of the units within the shipment. It's unfortunate, but AquaMaxx products are in such high demand it's difficult to get everything we've ordered in a single shipment.

We are scheduled to receive some on the shipment and is likely they will go quickly if any of them are leftover after the backorders. Check back with us early next week and we may know more.
