Hi David,

I just read through your entire build. Amazing job! I have a question though. I am buying an AGE 350 tank soon. I am looking into stands now and would LOVE the 3 year warranty. I am worried about the metal stand with the leveling feet. It seems like putting all that weight right on the feet.......as opposed to spreading the weight accross a large, flat piece of wood. Maybe the feet would damage the floor, or actually puncture it? Obviously it works, but wondering if you took any measures to account for this? I was thinking of setting it directly onto plywood? Thanks for any input.

Kris.

Thank you for the kind words..
I would go with his metal stand. Ask him to drill out the tab holes to 5/16" that way the wood has room to breath and doesn't pull apart.
I put a 1"x2" piece of oak under my leveling feet.

David,

Keep the pics coming and just saw the post in response to my question on what you were running the Radions at. I'm thinking I'll get 2 Radions for my frag tank to start with and then going from there since I'm just starting back over from scratch since moving. Have 80 lbs of live rock sitting in tub waiting to go into a water filled system but still have a few weeks before water will go in. Got to get my large order into PA tonight.... Keep the tank going and love the progress!

@Dustin...i was just looking at there site. Seems like shipping is as much as the tank which is crazy.

@David...I will check out some of the farming supply stores in my area and see what they have.

Shipping was going to be $169 for the 165 and three 55s. Might want to e-mail them for quote as that's what I did as the site was off! I've still not went this option yet as I'm trying to look locally too as shipping is still high....

I got mine from a Locally owned, try a Tractor Supply. If they don’t have one in stock I think they can order one. You shouldn’t have to pay shipping.

Dustin, I am just north of you near Kokomo. We have a place right on 31 by Grissom Air Force base that carries these tanks.... Let me know and I can give you some more info if you want or you can make the drive.

Go north up 31 through Kokomo to Grissom. It's on the East side of 31. Can't miss it....
