Nice shots David. I'd love to take up photography as another hobby but don't think I can afford another gadget at this point Any different ideas you might have for the Apex controller? I'm trying to think of some useful DIY things I can do with valves/solenoids and have a few in mind that should make life easier

I am not to good with DIY stuff. I do need to buy a breakout box for my apex

some kind of favia i think I bought from worldwide corals

I finished moving all the coral to 500 DT December 10th 2011. A lot of the corals were stressed and lost some color from the moves. I had moved everything to the basement in a temp tank. They were down there for 2 months. I did lose a few corals .
EcoTech Radion lights were set at 14k then over all intensity turned down to 45%. Lights come on at 7:00 am off at 8:00pm peak time is 3 hours. Corals are looking good the stressed ones are getting better color all ready. I set over all intensity to 52% yesterday I will leave it there all week. I did my 1st water change at 20%.
