Mixed 500 gal. A.G.E. build. 12 unit LED Radion lights.

veggie pellets and nori sheets a few times a day. Then once or twice a day They get a meaty food that I mix up. The mix has about everything I could think of in it. Zoecon, selcon, vitamins, Zooplankton, amino acids, squid, octopus, Tilapia, Mysis, scallup, nori sheets.
I tend to over feed. I'm sure it will catch up with me someday
 
some times i regret not going with starboard, already scratched the inside of my starphire, but then again I enjoy watching my diamond goby constantly sift the sand.
 
I like the look of sand but I sure don't miss it.
If a coral falls on to star board it just grows. If a coral falls into a sand bed it dies

I am interested in your MP60 and MP40 settings. I am tuning mine and not yet satisfied. I have 2 of each. Thanks for your input. Love your build btw.
 
Thanks I have been switching modes and speeds perhaps too often. My MPs are on the back wall as we created two walls on the ends to enclose the tank. I appreciate your input thanks again.
 
I also have 2 60s & 2 40s & can't seem to find a current I like. I have a 60 at each end & 2 40s in the back & I am thinking of putting the 40s back on the sides to get a better sway motion.

David, where do you have your positioned?

If you run an Apex, I have some great programs that I would be happy to share with you for both MP60's & MP40's.

Amazing pictures David!!!! I am sure this has been asked already and probably by me so I will apologize in advance if this has been asked in the past but what levels do you target in terms of water parameters? I am particularly interested in your nitrate and phosphate levels.

my hanna phosphate checker needs calibrated so I haven’t checked for them in a few years. I change GFO when glass gets dirty to fast. I'm ordering a calibration kit this week.
Nitrates I use salifert test kit and never seem to read any. I know this can’t be right.
What do you use to check for nitrates?
