I would think a sro3000 alone would be more than enough for a 220 heavy load

ok question then,,,when they rate skimmers they rate them at heavy load. cuz the sro3000 is rater for 300g! i thought that was just the max it would be able to produce properly...also i thought the rule of thumb was skimmer should be rated at twice your tank size? lmbo, now im confused...

Run the 2K dry, the larger of the two (5K ext) wet(ter). Post your specific results/thoughts, once established !

I called coralVue they told me My 5000 SRO ext was rated at a light load 500 gallon. I am running 700 gallons 9 tangs and other smaller fish.
They are quick to answer questions

I used to live in St. Joseph and my wife's family lives in Stewartsville, MO, so we ofcourse drive through there quite often! Would love to see your setup sometime! Can't wait to see your frag tank! The equipment list is better than most reefer's display tank equipment! Then again your frag tank will probably rival most people's display tanks too! Will you have any frag packs available soon?
