Mixed 500 gal. A.G.E. build. 12 unit LED Radion lights.

David, thanks for having my girlfriend and I over yesterday. Your tank is by far the coolest tank I've seen in person. The pictures on here don't even come close to doing the tank justice. The size alone is amazing. I took a couple cell phone shots why I was there.

Your welcome anytime

Hi David,

I've been following you thread for some time now and always look forward to updates to see how things are doing. I have to ask though what the status is with your lighting now. You're still on the Gen 1's right, but did you ever upgrade to the TIR lenses? I'm curious too as to where your schedule, colour mix and intensity has settled in. Would you mind exporting and sharing your current settings?

Love to see some recent pics of the fish room setup too if you get a chance.

Thanks

I did see that back on post #1701 but thought you'd have made some tweaks since then. The time stamp on the .etg file is showing Jan 10, 2013; you haven't made any adjustments to your lighting in that last 15 months?

Hi David, beautiful tank you have. I was just wondering if you ever upgraded you radions? If you haven't are they still performing good?

Great thanks for the reply. I could get my hands on a few gen 1 that only have 6 months of use on them for a pretty good price. I think I'll have to jump on them now that you haven't had any issues.

I just tried regenerating my GFO . High capacity GFO runs $162.00 a gallon. I use 6 cups in my reactor. This adds up to a lot of money.
i just got done with 6 cups. my phosphates are at .32 with the Hana test.
I will recheck after running the regenerated GFO next saturday

How often u changing urs??

I dump a bunch of food per day in my tank. Fish are fed about 6 times a day. Surprised I don't have more po4.

How did u regenerate?
