NOW IN STOCK: AquaMaxx ConeS CO-2 and CO-3 Protein Skimmers

We are puzzled enough that we've contacted AquaMaxx to advise us. Thank you in advance for your patience as we wait for a reply back to your inquiry!

Thank you for the patience. The part is used to hold the pump firmly in place on the mounting plate. You should find a threaded hole in order to attach it.

Feel free to let us know if you run into trouble. This was a recent addition to only the newest CO-2 skimmers and this is the first time we have seen it.

Thanks.... I will be measuring tonight my sump area. Actually you already got me scared because my sump is a 30" long and the height space available is 26" but will have to measure the clearance between the sump tank and the door area to get it in. Seems tough for the CO-2.

Measured my sump and you have it right, the 15" of the CO-2 will take a huge space in the 30 gal. sump. The clearance between the door and the sump to get in the Skimmer is only 8". The EM-200 will use equal or less space than what i have now (SRO 1000-SSS).

Final question, do you think the EM-300 will be too big for my tank??? It reaches the 13".

Thanks once again...

Just curious when the next batch of C0-1s is due...will it fulfill all of the back orders? I'd like to at least be able to back order one. :)

Hi RocketCityNano!

We've ordered 40 and have them split into 2 orders of 20 each.

The ETA for the first order is April 30, 2014. The ETA for the second order is May 9, 2014.

Bear in mind these are only estimated times of arrival, so they could arrive before or after... we won't know for sure until we get closer to those dates. However, you are more than welcome to ask for an update in the coming weeks here on RC or by calling/emailing us.

For reference, it appears we have 6 backorders for the CO-1 as of today...

EM100 and EM200

EM100 and EM200

are you getting any em100 or 200 soon

AquaMaxx retired the EM100 because, although it was a decent skimmer, it wasn't up to the standards set by the rest in the series.

We have 2 orders for 27 x EM200 protein skimmers. An order of 14 is scheduled to arrive 4/30/2014; an order of 13 is scheduled for delivery on 5/9/2014.

We presently have 4 backorders that will be fulfilled in the first shipment.

Please keep in mind these delivery dates are only estimated and are subject to change. Feel free to check in as these dates approach and we can provide updates (if anything changes).

Hi, What version of the Aquamaxx or equivalent would you you recommend for a 125g / 40g sump with a majority of sps and medium heavy fish load? Thanks.

AquaMaxx ConeS CO-3 Protein Skimmer

AquaMaxx ConeS CO-3 Protein Skimmer

Is there an ETA on an ordered AquaMaxx ConnS CO-3?

Happy Friday!

We have 2 POs of 20 x CO-3 protein skimmers pending (for a total of 40); we are anticipating arrival of the first order 5/9 and the second order 6/27. These are estimated delivery dates; actual delivery dates may be sooner or later. The demand for AquaMaxx product is pretty high.

:-)

:-)

Ok, 3 - 6 weeks is much more tolerable than 3 - 6 months. Thanks so much for the good news and I realize those are just estimates.

Thank you for the kind response. The estimated delivery dates that feed the website are always more generous than we anticipate. We usually underpromise and over deliver. You're also always welcome to hit us up to ask for an update and we'll give you the most accurate ETA we have at the moment. :love2:

Are you still expecting CO-1's April 30th? Is it possible to reserve a unit?

Hi MedRed! Thank you very much for your message. We hope you had a nice Easter weekend.

We have an order for 20 x AquaMaxx CO-1 Protein Skimmers with an estimated delivery date of 5/9; we have a second PO with an estimated delivery of 6/27. It appears our purchasing department has set the CO-1 to not permit additional backorders, although if you visit the product page you can set up an alert to be notified once it is back in stock. We presently have 19 backorders.

If you have any additional questions, please let me know!

Are you running the skimmer without this piece? I looked a few pages back and saw the picture you posted. From reading various posts, I did this figure/diagram of what is what, must say first I've seen that piece, will add if you figure out what it is.

My Co-3 should be here in a few weeks, I'll let you know via MASC if I see the same piece, but surely hope you get an answer before then.

I apologize for the continued trouble and we will look into this further. Unfortunately, we sold through our entire inventory so I am unable to go check a skimmer in our warehouse.

I will post back when we get some more information from AquaMaxx.

Yep. I don't appear to have the right pump holder to use this piece and it's working fine without it. Guessing that I got the old pump holder with the new locking piece to hold in the pump better.
